The Creality LD-006 photopolymer 3D printer is similar to the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 3D printer we introduced earlier ( click here: Phrozen Mighty photopolymer video tutorial: You can print movable models too! ). Both have a full-coverage structure, a touch screen for control, and use USB to upload 3D print files. The contents include a power cord, squeegee, toolbox, and instruction manual.
There are many types of photopolymer 3D printers , but their Z-axis calibration procedures are largely similar. Using the same concept, after disassembling the machine's outer casing, lifting the full-coverage cover, and removing the components, perform the Z-axis calibration in three steps:
1. Loosen the screws
Loosen the printing platform screws (do not remove them), loosen the resin tank screws (do not remove them).
2. Place the paper and begin calibration.
The Creality LD-006 comes with a calibration card. Place the card above the LCD panel and select "Tool" > "Manual" on the touchscreen to manually adjust the position of the Z-axis printing stage. Then select "Set Z=0" and the printing stage will automatically descend until it is flush with the calibration card at the bottom.
3. The stage rises and the calibration is completed.
After completely flattening the bottom paper and LCD panel, tighten the fixing screws on the left and right sides of the platform again. Finally, follow the instructions on the touch screen, and the platform will rise to the top again to complete the calibration.
Quartz LED chips, upgraded light source
The Creality LD-006 UV-curing 3D printer uses a brand-new light source structure, with parallel UV light combined with an LCD quartz lamp design, which can more evenly irradiate ultraviolet light, ensuring the quality of the printed product and stable printing efficiency.
Resin tank graduation reminder
Refer to the thoughtful scale design of the Creality LD-006 resin tank. After pouring in the resin to be used, the machine is ready (note that you should not exceed the maximum resin volume).
Select "Print" in the menu, choose the 3D model slice file in the USB ( click to see: ChituBox slicing software tutorial ), the maximum print size can reach 192 x 120 x 250mm, which can meet the needs of various sample prototyping, model and fine part testing in fields such as dental molds, jewelry, model design.
