Mayku reduced diameter sheet is designed specifically for Mayku Multiplier , compressing the Multiplier's forming area into A4 or US letter format, thereby gaining access to hundreds of global sheet suppliers that provide straight-cut sheet, enabling the use of thicker and thinner materials and reducing waste !
Reduced diameter sheets can be neatly installed within the forming area of the Multipier, reducing them to A4 or US Letter format. With this size sheet, you have a usable forming area of 250 x 180 mm , which allows for the use of rectangular sheets and makes it easier to source sheets from different suppliers.
Compared to standard-sized multiplier plates, reducing plates also allow for the use of higher tools and reduce unwanted thermoforming effects (such as curling).
Different materials require different molding temperatures and pressures. Generally, thicker sheets require higher pressures to form effectively. When used in conjunction with custom molding processes, reducing plates enable multiplier tubes to be used with materials larger than 5 mm, opening up a wide range of applications for thermoforming materials and allowing the creation of rock-solid parts without sacrificing detail.
