[3D Surround View Scan] The New Store Opening: The Art of Ingenious Space!
Undeterred by the pandemic, "San Gu Mao Lu" (Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage) is expanding again with a new PLUS store design, offering a refreshing space to savor the aroma, numbing spiciness, and chili flavors! Taiwanese people are known for their love of hot pot, with the market for spicy hot pot, braised dishes, and more generating approximately NT$250 billion annually. This time, we collaborated with "Platinum Design" to film the store's interior design commissioned by "San Gu Mao Lu," with Sandima serving as a one-day store manager, using a 3D immersive experience to guide you through the franchise site and store planning:
From its origins as a red and black braised food stall, "San Gu Mao Lu" has continuously transformed its store and brand style, from a more traditional stall to a fresh and bright store today, while the delicious taste of its soup base remains unchanged. In 2019 and 2020, it was consecutively named the most popular braised food brand on Taiwan's food delivery platforms, and currently has 132 branches throughout Taiwan.
Initially, planning the small 35-ping (approximately 16.3 square meters) space into takeout and dine-in areas, while also including a cooking area, storage, and cleaning area, was a major challenge. Through 3D surround view scanning , it can be seen that the takeout area is separated by transparent glass, allowing for a wider view. In addition, an extra seat can be provided for customers to rest, and a beverage refrigerator is also located at the checkout area for convenient access when ordering set meals.
The overall style after completion is mainly wood-toned with exposed concrete. To improve the hygiene of picking up ingredients in traditional braised food, "San Gu Mao Lu" uses ingredient cards to make it easier for consumers to choose. This makes the seemingly simple woodwork actually very labor-intensive. Each space is calculated and processed by the craftsman, and even the metal three-dimensional lettering on the wall is custom-made.
In the 3D immersive space , you can move freely and get a closer look at the quality of the decor. Similar to the previous project by "Platinum Design"—Liyang Energy Conference Space—the project offers a complete project management service from design to completion. All construction details can be seen through Matterport scanners , including the cooking area that is normally inaccessible. The ingredients are divided into multiple small compartments to prevent them from mixing, and there is a large refrigerator at the back, ensuring you can enjoy your spicy food with peace of mind.
