[Real Test Video] AESUB Powder Spray: The Ultimate Showdown of the Best Couples!

AESUB powder is great, right? The highly praised AESUB Blue has the characteristic of automatic evaporation and no cleaning required, just like that girl who doesn't reply when she says she's going to take a shower – it evaporates automatically. It can be applied to fabrics, glass, wood, metal, and electronic parts. But wait! Does AESUB Blue's automatic evaporation feature only last for four hours? And does it evaporate faster with temperature, humidity, or ventilation? What if the scanned object is a 1:1 scale model or needs a positioning sticker, and there's simply not enough time? That's when our AESUB Orange comes to the rescue! (Previous context: [3D Scanning] BMW Instrument Panel Reverse Engineering, AESUB Orange Extended Range!) But ultimately, which one offers the best value for money? Let's get started!

We specifically used a vehicle-mounted scanner to lift the vehicle and scan the entire chassis!

First and foremost, we adhered to the factory's safety regulations throughout the entire process, prioritizing personnel safety and complying with relevant government regulations during the pandemic. The operation involved using the front half of an Aesub Blue spray truck and the rear half of an Aesub Orange spray truck.

After spraying, the equipment is ready to work. Since scanning the vehicle chassis is somewhat difficult, we apply positioning stickers to the chassis. The chassis is made of metal and has a complex structure. Aesub Blue and Aesub Orange have the characteristics of automatic evaporation and no need for cleaning, so they will not cause any damage to the vehicle.

Finally, we started the 3D scan , but we found that the front half of the car, which Aesub Blue was responsible for, had already started to evaporate, and the scan results were not ideal. So, we sent in Aesub Orange to save the day. This time, we used the SHINING 3D - EinScan Pro HD scanner , which truly lives up to its PRO-level reputation.

Since both Aesub Blue and Aesub Orange cans have the same capacity, I prepared two cans of Aesub Orange just in case. I made sure that the Aesub Blue spray had evaporated completely before starting to use Aesub Orange .

After the 3D scan , it was noticeable that Aesub Orange evaporates much more slowly, making it more suitable for larger objects and more challenging environments. The effect remained even after the entire 3D scan was completed. The whole process was unhurried, and even considering the time needed to scan the positioning sticker , there was still ample time. The effect was still valid after the scan was finished.

Overall, Aesub Blue is suitable for indoor use and smaller items. Aesub Orange is suitable for outdoor use and larger items. So the question is, which one offers the best value for money?
The two have different prices. In terms of time cost, Aesub Blue costs approximately NT$237.5 per hour; while Aesub Orange , under ideal conditions, costs approximately NT$57.5 per hour. Even assuming a minimum 12-hour self-evaporation period, it still costs approximately NT$115 per hour. Applying the saying "time is money," Aesub Orange is significantly more cost-effective. The key question is whether it will be a great or bad partner during 3D scanning; a smart person like you will understand. Of course, we also have Aesub White .
