[Technology Development News] Growth History Reveals Trends, Expanding Services for New Prospects!
Looking back at 2014, as SanDiMa approaches its seventh year since its founding, the support and love of our customers have been the driving force behind our continuous progress, sharing of new knowledge, and expansion of services. Last year, affected by the pandemic, many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) transformed themselves to survive in this challenging environment. SanDiMa, having participated in this process, has deeply felt the impact. What technological applications brought about what kind of changes? Let's explore this through SanDiMa's development data!
The Emergence of 3D Printing
The founders established their business in Taiwan in 2014, a time when discussions about new technologies were less active than in English-speaking countries. The couple worked hard to build their small company, introducing various 3D printing filaments and sharing application knowledge, hoping to help more local users understand the efficiency and benefits of 3D printing . The following year, with the support of the original brand, they began to introduce 3D printers such as Ultimaker and Lulzbot, providing more usage tips and case studies. In 2016, they added a branch in Hong Kong, officially becoming a local foreign company, and further expanded their portfolio with the DWS photopolymerization technology brand, becoming the exclusive distributor of Ultimaker in Taiwan and Hong Kong. 
New applications for walking side by side
As Taiwanese businesses increasingly focus on 3D printing , our technology information has been featured in a television interview by CTi News. In addition to collaborating on teaching courses and providing more filaments and 3D printing technology , we have also expanded our services to include Shining 3D scanning and 3D drawing, driven by the growing demand for digitized industrial parts.In response to staff expansion in 2017, the company relocated to its current office in Yonghe. That same year, the company's growth rate reached 30%, demonstrating that the Industry 4.0 trend has broadened public awareness of the 3D industry.

Since 2018, Sinterit, a powder-based 3D printer that was previously rare, has also been installed in Sandima's offices. Technological innovation has transformed the large machines in the factory into lightweight desktop devices, and the annual growth rate reached 14%.In addition to small and medium-sized enterprises, colleges and universities are also paying more attention to industrial development. The "New Generation Intelligent Manufacturing Dream" tour vehicle, which was invited by the Ministry of Economic Affairs to cooperate with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, drove into campuses to allow students to experience the latest technologies firsthand.
Micro-makers have many choices.
Beyond 3D printing , the needs of local makers have become a driving force for information sharing. To meet the diverse needs of the general public, in 2019, we introduced a variety of peripheral accessories, including metal 3D printers , FLUX laser cutting machines , Roland CNC milling machines , FormBox and DT2 vacuum forming machines , ultrasonic knives , etc.At the end of 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the global economy, putting immense pressure on Taiwan's export-oriented SMEs. Despite a fivefold increase in shipping costs, we maintained stable prices for all equipment to help our clients weather the storm. The crisis also became an opportunity to accelerate transformation, with technologically advanced desktop processing equipment gaining popularity among business owners. Even in the challenging year of 2020, we achieved a 14% year-on-year growth, and joined renowned 3D printer brands such as Snapmaker and Phrozen . The potential market for micro-entrepreneurship continued to flourish, with increasingly diverse application technologies.
